For my IRL Birthday, I decided to indulge my darker side and purchased a fantastic leather piece from Zana Bayne. I wish I could say I knew Zana before her Gaga Collaboration, but unfortunately I hadn't seen her work until it was featured in the "You and I" video that gaga recently released (although her work has been featured on countless covers, editorials, and more).

I decided to go with the necklace harness because I felt it would be easy to incorporate into my wardrobe and still give me that darker edge I was going for. See examples below:

The effect was exactly what I was going for. The Leather pieces that Zana hand crafts one by one seemingly have the power to transform any outfit into a high end sartorial masterpiece. The harness was well worth the price and even though I've only had it for a few days now, I'm confident that it will be one of my most worthwhile fashion investments to date.

In addition to the quality of her work, and the genius of her design, I have to give a heartfelt shout out to Zana and her ability to run her small business. She was helpful through every part of the process, and when USPS F***ed up the delivery, she did everything she could to help me find my package. She even wished me a Happy Birthday .
